There are many different kinds of fine art photography.

Photographs of iconic landscapes are the most popular in photographers' portfolios. Usually, but not always, this type of music is recorded at well-known rest stops along highways. These are some of the most well-known and commercially exploited landscapes in the world. Wide-angle lenses and intense color saturation are hallmarks of this look.

Unlike famous vistas, scenic nature landscapes are not necessary from well-known locales. This subgenre makes it a point to keep the setting as natural as possible. Personally, I love this kind of landscape photography the most. An intimate landscape is the polar opposite of a great scenic environment, focusing instead on the "scenes within a scene" found in natural settings like forests, mountains, and rivers. Trees are one of my favorite subjects since they lend themselves to visual storytelling and metaphor.

Most nature landscapes are "found subjects" rather than "made subjects," which makes abstract landscape photography the most challenging sub-genre to conceptualize. Creatively and emotionally, I find this style of painting to be extremely fulfilling and enjoyable. Fine art can be defined as abstract landscapes.

Aerial and Drone Photography: Aerial and drone photography uses aircraft, helicopters, and other unmanned aerial vehicles to capture images. Some of these photographs could potentially be characterized as abstract landscapes because of the high altitude at which they were taken. There are a wide range of subjects that can be included in an urban landscape, but most of the other types of photography I've discussed thus far focus on natural settings.

Nature FINE ART photography

When it comes to Fine art photography prints for sale, 'Iconic natural scenes,' the most common type of nature photography in portfolios, is the most popular. Most of the time, but not always, this type of photography is carried out at well-known rest areas along highways in a state. People identify and buy merchandise based on well-known scenes. This aesthetic is characterized by its use of wide-angle lenses and a high degree of color saturation.

"Intimate nature photography" refers to nature photography that concentrates on "scenes inside scenes" such as woodland vistas, rocks, colors, and water patterns. As a visual storytelling and a metaphor, trees are one of my favorite subjects to work with, I love to experiment, even with he most simple of scenes.

For abstract nature photography, the most difficult type to imagine is the "discovered subject" landscape photography. This kind of photography appeals to me on a creative and a personal level. Abstract photography is one of the most creative sub-genres in nature photography.

I also love macro and close-up macro photographs, the hidden mystery inside macro, is something I find fascinating and love to experiment.

Wildlife photography is a subgenre of nature photography that focuses on photographing animals in their natural habitat. When it comes to taking pictures of animals in captivity, there are two distinct labels for the activity: "zoo photography" and "wildlife photography". Long telephoto lenses are commonly used by wildlife photographers to ensure their own safety as well as the safety of the subjects they're photographing. The fine art photograph below was captured as Assateuge island.

One of the most common fine art photography prints for sale is Giclee, also known as inkjet, is a French art term for inkjet printing. While most people associate inkjet printing with the typical home office printer, fine art inkjet prints are a high-quality printmaking technique that is accepted in galleries and museums.

Lightjet: laser continuous tone prints on Fuji Crystal Archive paper are ultra smooth due to the use of lasers, as opposed to inkjet printing, which sprays millions of small dots onto the paper.

Museum-Grade Cotton Rag: Possibly the most archival type of fine art paper, museum-grade cotton rag is thicker than most fine art photography papers.

Canvas Prints: These prints are heavily textured and printed on museum-quality canvas, which can obscure fine details. This is fine for wide landscapes with few fine details, but it is not appropriate for intimate landscape photography.

Metal Dye-Sublimation: Dye-sublimation metal prints are made on thin sheets of aluminum after a fine art photography print has been "baked into the metal" using a high-pressure thermal transfer process. Metal prints are suitable for high-traffic areas such as hotel lobbies and medical offices because they use the most durable substrate and print finish. This is the most popular type of nature photography art print on the market today.

Acrylic Face Mount: Many fine art photography labs have proprietary processes for creating fine art prints and then dry mounting them flush against plexiglass acrylic or museum-quality "glass". This is a high-end fine art printmaking technique that is perfect for colorful fine art nature photography. The most popular acrylic face mounts are FujiFlex and Lumachrome prints.
