Pacific Northwest

I saw summer in her morning blush, I heard winter as she cried, I felt the wind, in her smile, I watched, her hand lay in mine, as northern skies close, over aqua filled basins, tumbled rocks, rest, amongst orange and red reflections, with a Northwest heartbeat, I forget all I have taken.

Hollow coves and rivers that rage, towering trees, and August rain, rapture from solitude, and love in her gaze, timeless heartbeats, endless days, in a place of shallow waters and wild waves, a place, where the redwoods rest, a place called the pacific northwest.

I only show the skies I cry, when you are right, and I am wrong, I always remember your smile, and at night, I will always be by your side, for there is not one nor the other, just as green is not blue, just as I am not you, but if there is one truth, when thoughts, find walls, there are others who, have nothing less than another view.

The city waits, as the grounds take her dress, she confesses to truth, her fears she forgets, a heart breaking, with no one around, except the ocean listening to her slowing breath, she becomes summer in clouds, laying still, the hum of wind resounds, green silk, and sun downs.

This is where you will find us,

a place for two, where the redwoods rest,

a place with you, the pacific northwest.
